Aggregate Bunkers

Bozdağ Concrete Plants are designed and manufactured with long service life and heavy-duty conditions in mind. Our aggregate bunkers are specially designed to store different types of aggregates used in concrete production in a safe, organized, and controlled manner.

Thanks to their advanced design, material flow is optimized, the production process is accelerated, and workplace safety is enhanced. Our bunkers offer both practical use and long service life through their durable construction and discharge gates that operate in integration with the automation system.

Bozdağ Bunkers: Advantages and Features

  • Multi-Compartment and High-Capacity Design: Options with 3, 4, 5, or 6 compartments; capacities ranging from 60 m³ to 400 m³.

  • Sturdy Body and Support Structure: The supporting chassis and legs are made of NPI 200 or equivalent H-profile steel, ensuring long-lasting durability.

  • Durable Material Usage: Bunker bases are made of 6 mm thick St 37 steel, with abrasion-resistant steel used for lower outlets.

  • Automation-Supported Discharge: Gates that open and close via pneumatic cylinders operate in synchronization with the automation system.

  • Flexible Filling Options: Material can be loaded via tipper trucks, loaders, or traveling belt feeding systems.

  • Air and Dust Protection: Optional top, bottom, and side enclosures prevent aggregates from getting wet in rain and reduce dust emissions.

Applications

Aggregate bunkers are used to optimize material management, particularly in concrete plants, ready-mix concrete facilities, and large construction projects. Their compartmentalized structure allows different types of aggregates to be stored simultaneously, enabling uninterrupted production.

Maintenance and Service Recommendations

To ensure long-lasting and safe operation of the bunkers:

  • Regularly inspect and clean the base and gate mechanisms.

  • Periodically test the pneumatic cylinders and automation system.

  • Promptly address any wear or deformation on the bunker surfaces.

Following these maintenance steps ensures uninterrupted production and extended service life.
